What if there are no winners?

SOY that is not won in the prize pools is not wasted but instead rolled over to the next Lottery round. Unclaimed SOY accumulates over time, increasing the potential prize pool for future rounds.

My ticket matches several numbers but I can't claim a prize?

Tickets are only eligible for prizes if matching numbers from left to right. See the Lottery documentation for a thorough explanation.​

How are prizes broken down between brackets?

Each bracket's prize pool is a portion of the total SOY in each Lottery round.

Can I swap my tickets back to SOY?

Once you have purchased a Lottery ticket, it is not possible to convert it back to SOY. However, this isn't necessarily a bad thing, as each ticket provides you with a chance to win a prize in the Lottery. So, while you can't get your SOY back, you do have the opportunity to win even more SOY if your ticket matches the winning numbers!

If I win, do I need to manually claim the prize?

Yes, you will need to click the Check Now button under "Are you a winner?" on the Lottery page.

How often is the lottery?

The Lottery holds a draw every Friday at around 9am UTC, which is approximately 1 week after the previous draw. It's essential to note that there is an administrative window between 8:45 and 9:15 am during which buying new tickets may be impossible because the previous round is being closed. This time period is necessary for the Lottery to finalize the previous round's results and ensure a fair and accurate draw.

What transaction fee will I pay for buying tickets?

Every ticket purchase you make will be one transaction. Purchasing a single ticket in a Lottery purchase will cost the normal amount of fees for a transaction. However, buying more tickets in that purchase will increase the fee. Don't worry, Callisto chain is still extremely cheap!

How does the bulk discount work?

When purchasing Lottery tickets, the bulk discount offered is designed to reward buyers who purchase larger amounts of tickets in a single transaction. The discount starts out small for just 2 tickets, but quickly adds up as you increase the number of tickets in a single transaction. It's worth noting that the discount only applies to transactions with up to 25 tickets and does not carry over to the next transaction or next round. So, if you plan to buy multiple tickets, it's best to buy them all at once to take advantage of the discount.

Why can I only buy 25 tickets?

You can only buy a maximum of 25 tickets in one purchase, but you can make multiple purchases. There's nothing to stop you buying more tickets after your first 25. The 25 limit is imposed by the Callisto Chain block size.

If I manually create two or more tickets with the same numbers and they win, am I eligible for prizes for each ticket?

Yes, each ticket is treated as a separate entry to the Lottery. The more winning tickets you have, the bigger the payout and you can claim all at once with the "Check Now" button. However, keep in mind that all winning tickets share the same portion of the prize pot.
